To help your dog feel more at home and on as normal a level as possible we ask that you bring his regular food. Feeding the dogs their regular food is more work for us but it will help lessen the stress or tummy upset, making the overall stay more enjoyable. We do require that all frozen or raw foods be individually pre-packaged. Please bring a suitable amount of food for the length of your dog’s stay. We will provide all bowls.
You may bring clean bedding and any of your dog’s favorite non destructible toys or treats. Please keep in mind that even though they bring a toy in, it may not make it home. We do make every attempt to keep the correct toys with the dog the toy came in with but every once and a while, the guests will sneak them outside, then it’s fair game!
To avoid confusion, please label everything you bring in and DO NOT leave with out your leash.
All dogs MUST provide proof of vaccination before they will be allowed to stay. You can have your vet fax the records to us at 398-1465 or you can bring the records when you bring your dog in. Dogs must be vaccinated against: Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – we still recommend that, due to the higher risk factor of boarding, dogs are vaccinated for kennel cough every 6 months, however we will honor the timeline protocol suggested by your vet). You can get a shot record from your veterinarian. You will be certifying that your dog is current on all shots and has not been exposed to Kennel Cough or any other illness within 30 days of coming in.
*For the safety of all our guests, we require that Bordetella (kennel cough vaccine) be administered every 6 months. What is Kennel Cough?
